Business man Alfred Agbesi Woyome, who is standing trial for a controversial GH¢51 million judgement debt payment to him, has paid glowing tribute to the late President John Mills.
Woyome appeared in court on Monday, in a mourning cloth all in honour of the memory of the late president. He handed a copy of a tribute to Joy News’ Sammy Darko who was present in court.
Part of the Tribute read: “I believe it is appropriate that I praise the late president for always keeping his cool anytime he was faced with stiff criticisms and insults from his detractors. Indeed his nick name
Asomdwee Hene was well earned and well deserved.
“It is my hope that what President Mills came to symbolize to Ghanaians – humility and altruism – will remain a lasting legacy and guard post for several generations to come,” he said.
