Information reaching FocusGhana.com indicate that President John D. Mahama will make significant changes in his government this week.
The shake-up is expected to affect some top ministers and appointees in the government. The Ministry of Information is expected to undergo serious changes with the substantive minister and a deputy being replaced.
Hon. Haruna Iddrisu is expected to take chargeof the Information ministry whilst Madam Hanah Tetteh is likely to become the nation’s first Foreign Minister.
Many presidential aides and staffers in the castle will also be affected in this shake-up. This move is seen as the final lap for the government ahead of the 2012 general elections.
