Kwadwo Asamoah and Richmond Boakye-Yiadom were the first to arrive in Ghana’s camp for Wednesday’s friendly against China. The duo were with the Juventus squad which beat Napoli 4-2 to lift the 2012 Italian Super Cup on Saturday night.
Asamoah was influential in the Cup match and scored a superb volley which helped the Biaconneri to victory.Teenage striker Boakye-Yiadom was not the bench for Old Ladys despite being named in the contingent.
He is one of four players handed maiden call-ups by head coach Kwesi Appiah for the exhibition match.The rest of Ghana’s 18-man squad are expected by Monday night for the match which will be played in Xian.
