Dr Kofi Mbiah Wins 2012 Best Africa Maritime And Energy Awards
The Executive Director of the Ghana Shippers Authority, Dr Kofi Mbiah, has received this year’s best Africa Maritime and Energy Awards.
He was given a plaque and a citation by the Africa Shippers Oil Digest.
The award is an annual affair instituted to reward distinguished personalities in the oil and gas sector by the Africa Shippers Oil Digest.
Dr Mbiah’s hard work and contribution to seminars and magazines to the improvement of the marine industry contributed to the award.
He said he is humbled by the award and dedicates it to his colleagues and staff.
Earlier, Dr Kofi Mbiah in an interview with Radio Ghana said the authority is well positioned in terms of infrastructure and human resource to maximise the proceeds of the oil find.
