Bank Of Ghana To Introduce New 50 Cedi Notes

The Bank of Ghana is set to introduce new 50 cedi notes with enhanced features. According to the Bank of Ghana, the upgrade 50 cedi notes is to prevent people from producing counterfeit notes.

The cedi will feature a cocoapad but contains enhanced features of previous items such as the big six. According to the central bank, the new cedi is expected to be in circulation in August this year. The Bank of Ghana added that the new 50 cedi note will be in circulation with the existing ones for sometime before the old ones fade out.
